Job Summary:

As an Operations Tech Specialist at Centrus Energy, you’ll help bring advanced manufacturing and plant systems to life—from installation and startup to daily operation and performance testing. You’ll work side-by-side with engineering, construction, and operations teams to ensure equipment runs safely, efficiently, and on schedule while supporting a mission that directly impacts the future of clean energy.
What You Will Do?
You’ll operate, monitor, and maintain production and support equipment to meet manufacturing and operational goals. This includes supporting equipment turnover from construction, assisting with startup and functional testing, adjusting systems manually and through computer controls, responding to alarms, and documenting operational activities. You’ll perform inspections, support procedure development, assist with select maintenance activities, and help ensure all operations meet safety, quality, security, and regulatory requirements—all while keeping systems running reliably across normal, off-normal, and emergency conditions.

In addition, once employe, employees will become part of a random drug testing program and may also be tested in the event of any incident causing injury or causing damage to property, or if it is determined that there is a reasonable suspicion the employee is under the influence of drugs or alcohol. This position will require preemployment background check on the part of the Company and in order to receive a Q security clearance, a background investigation by the Federal government. Subsequent Federal government reinvestigations may be required.
