MajorDuties

  • As a OPERATIONS RESEARCH ANALYST at the GS-1515-13 some of your typical work assignments may include: Serves as a recognized technical expert for data science, operations research, master data management, and data visualization. Uses advanced predictive analysis, data visualization, modeling, machine learning, and data science methods to extract meaningful value from data. Develops and conducts data science and operations research analysis and techniques. Participates in the analysis and evaluation of business requirements and user needs as a component of planning and design. Understanding and monitoring recent advancements and developments in AI/Autonomy and other advanced technologies. Displays research skills, derives conclusions, develops recommendations, and delivers written status updates, formal technical reports, and briefings to superiors. Coordinates activities and provides metrics and consultation in support of initiatives within and outside of the Command.

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level. This job series has a positive education requirement.
