Job Description:
Material Planning & Master Data Management
•Maintain and regularly review Material Master data, with a strong focus on MRP 1 to MRP 4 views to ensure planning accuracy.
•Perform safety stock analysis and maintenance at least once per quarter based on consumption trends, variability, and business requirements.
•Conduct ABC-XYZ-FMR analysis to optimize lot sizing and define appropriate MRP strategies.
MRP & Production Planning
•Monitor and analyze MRP exception messages, coordinating with relevant teams to resolve issues related to planned orders and production orders.
•Ensure timely conversion of planned orders into production orders to meet demand and reduce backlog.
•Track and manage open backlog, including identifying incorrect demand generation or sales order booking under wrong categories.
System Cleanup & Data Accuracy
• Perform regular system housekeeping to improve planning reliability, including:
o Clearing COGI errors
o Closing or correcting old/open purchase requisitions
o Reviewing and resolving open deliveries
o Cleaning up old planned and production orders
o Closing obsolete reservations
• Analyze and resolve IDOC errors in coordination with IT and other stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with Buyers to ensure timely and accurate updates of PIRs (Planned Independent Requirements) and Source Lists (SL).
• Collaborate with Process Engineering (PE) for:
o BOM corrections
o Alignment of E vs E/50 strategies
•Lead and coordinate Engineering Change Notice (ECN) implementation from a scheduling and planning perspective.
Inventory Optimization & E&O Management
•Conduct Excess & Obsolete (E&O) analysis on a regular basis.
•Lead E&O review meetings and coordinate cross-functionally to determine actions such as selling, re-work, reuse, or scrapping of materials.
Continuous Improvement & Automation
•Actively support and drive automation initiatives related to the production scheduling process.
•Identify system gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities to enhance planning performance.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field
• Hands-on experience with SAP MRP and scheduling
