Le Jardin Français, a French floral, event, and garden design studio, is seeking a dynamic and highly organized Operations Manager to support and drive our day-to-day operations.

This role is integral to the success of our business—bridging communication across departments, maintaining structure and accountability, and ensuring that every aspect of the company operates efficiently and seamlessly. The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and a hands-on executor who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.


Position Overview

As Operations Manager, you will lead the coordination of daily operations, team logistics, administrative systems, and operational infrastructure. You will play a key role in maintaining organization across departments, improving processes, and ensuring no detail slips through the cracks.

This position works closely with ownership and department leaders and has visibility into all areas of the business.

This is a hands-on role. The ideal candidate is as comfortable managing systems and teams as they are stepping in to support the physical needs of the business—whether that means organizing inventory, assisting with setup, or maintaining workspace standards.


Key Responsibilities

Operations & Team Management

* Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure completion of daily and ongoing objectives

* Coordinate logistics across departments (Greenhouse, Atelier, Boutique, Upper West Market, Deliveries)

* Manage team scheduling, time clock systems, PTO tracking, and attendance documentation

* Foster team communication, accountability, and morale

* Provide feedback, assist with training, and identify development opportunities

Fleet & Facility Management

* Oversee vehicle fleet logistics, including scheduling, usage tracking, and routing support

* Manage vehicle maintenance and cleaning schedules to ensure readiness and brand standards

* Maintain organization and cleanliness across workspaces (Studio, Atelier, vehicles, storage areas)

* Track and manage company equipment and tools (inventory, upkeep, accountability)

Administrative & Office Management

* Manage administrative workflows including:

* Accounts Payable (AP) support of Bookkeeper

* Deposits and financial admin coordination

* Office email management and mail distribution

* Support vendor communication and credit reconciliation processes

* Improve internal systems for documentation, organization, and communication

Systems & Technology

* Serve as internal point of contact for IT systems and external vendors

* Maintain and improve systems including:

* Microsoft Outlook / OneDrive / SharePoint

* POS systems (Shopify)

* Ensure proper setup, organization, and usage of shared drives and communication tools

* Troubleshoot basic tech issues and escalate when needed

Inventory, Cost Control & Process Improvement

* Support inventory management and cost control initiatives

* Improve tracking and organization of tools, materials, and retail products

* Assist in managing Shopify & Thrive inventory for retail and sale items

* Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce waste

* Strengthen internal processes around vendor credits and purchasing

HR & Recruitment Support

* Assist with recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding processes

* Help maintain employee documentation and HR compliance

* Support performance management processes and team structure


Required Skills & Qualifications

* Strong leadership and organizational skills

* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

* Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through

* Strong time management and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint, Word)

* Comfort with POS systems and operational software (Shopify, Thrive)

* Tech-savvy with ability to manage IT-related coordination

* Experience in operations, administration, or team management


Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in hospitality, floral, event, or design industries

* Experience with inventory management and cost control systems

* Familiarity with Shopify or similar POS platforms

* Spanish and/or French language skills are a plus
