Operations Coordinator (On‑Site)

Location: Syracuse, NY (On‑site)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Occasional rotating weekend coverage (1–2 hours) once fully trained

About the Role

We are seeking an entry-level Operations Coordinator to support daily shipment and delivery operations. This is a fast‑paced, on‑site role that works closely with Customer Service and carrier partners to ensure accurate, timely shipments and quick resolution of issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review delivery orders and shipment statuses from the previous day
  • Ensure all scheduled pickups are completed successfully
  • Verify account and billing information for accuracy
  • Review and prepare shipments for upcoming delivery days
  • Confirm shipments are dispatched correctly and on schedule
  • Act as a liaison between internal Customer Service teams and external carriers
  • Communicate shipment updates and respond to carrier inquiries
  • Troubleshoot and resolve shipment issues in real time
  • Provide timely updates to Customer Service regarding carrier questions or concerns
Required Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Problem‑solving mindset with high attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in logistics, transportation, or 3PL environments is a strong plus

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Syracuse, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.64 - $26.45/hr.
