Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Opening General Manager at Alicorn Hotels, located in Phoenix, AZ. The Opening General Manager will oversee all aspects of hotel pre-opening operations, including staff recruitment, training, and team development. Responsibilities include setting operational procedures, managing budgets, and ensuring the hotel's performance aligns with brand standards. The role requires fostering a positive guest experience, maintaining regulatory compliance, and collaborating with various departments to drive operational success. The Opening General Manager will also play a key role in creating a culture of excellence, inspiring and motivating staff, and achieving business objectives.

Qualifications
  • Leadership and team management skills, with experience in staff training, development, and performance management
  • Strong operational expertise, including planning, financial management, and resource allocation
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and compliance best practices
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences and maintain high service standards
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in property management systems and familiarity with hotel technology tools
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
  • Previous experience as a General Manager or in a similar leadership role in the hospitality industry
  • Proactive approach to challenges and a track record of achieving growth and revenue goals
