· The pay range for these positions is $17.00-$20.00 per hour. 

Job Requirements and Details

• Minimum of 1 year of security experience required
  (Security, law enforcement, or military experience accepted)
• Must have an active unarmed DCJS license
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass a lifetime background check and drug test
• Open availability required, including weekends
• Must be able to cover all assigned events
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Must have excellent communication skills and maintain a professional demeanor

Training Opportunity

Interested in becoming armed? Securitas offers an ARMED training class at the end of each month.
Candidates must be able to attend a 4‑day unpaid training and be available to work immediately after completion.

All Security Positions are Full Time, All SHIFTS AVAILABLE (weekends and event coverage is a MUST).

Must have excellent Customer Service skills
Security positions require you pass our drug screen and background check
Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard

Job Requirements of the Security Officer include but are not limited to:
Security Officers/Security Guards observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
Additional physical requirements of the security officer/guard may include, frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
