Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• Travel experience is preferred.
• AS completion required.
Requirements:
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• No current placement allowed at Program: Cross Country Program - University of Connecticut (UCONN).

Additional Details:
Required Skills / Experience: Need experience scrubbing other cases such as ortho, neuro, gen surgery
2 years of formal in hospital experience
Required Credentials: Associates Degree from Surgical Tech Program
Special Requests: Mandatory Overtime: During Personnel’s assignment with Client, he or she is considered part of the unit and will be included as part of the rotation pool of staff (i.e., Client employees and Personnel) who are required to work additional hours on an as-needed basis to ensure coverage for the unit
Shift & Scheduling: 7am, 9:30am, 11am, 1pm start time based on need
Rotating weekend and holidays
Floating Requirement: Client may float or reassign Personnel to a different department, unit, or facility (within 30 miles of the Personnel’s originally assigned facility) within the Personnel’s clinical competence.
7 days maximum time off
2 Manager/Supervisor references required
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• CST (Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA))
