About the Role
Breedr is a fast-growing agri-tech company transforming how livestock producers manage, track, and trade their animals. We’re looking for a dependable and proactive Part-Time Office Administrator to help keep our Austin office running smoothly. This role is approximately 20 hours per week with a flexible schedule that can be arranged around your availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for office visitors, deliveries, and general inquiries
- Manage day-to-day office operations including supplies, mail, and vendor coordination
- Provide administrative support to the Operations and Finance teams (scheduling, filing, data entry, expense reports)
- Coordinate travel bookings and expense submissions for team members as needed
- Assist with onboarding logistics for new hires (desk setup, access cards, welcome materials)
- Maintain office organization, cleanliness standards, groceries, and shared space management
- Support marketing team in planning and coordination of company events, team lunches, and offsites
- Handle ad hoc administrative tasks and special projects as assigned
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in an administrative, receptionist, or office coordinator role
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Proficient in Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Sheets)
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication
- Self-starter who can manage tasks independently with minimal supervision
- Warm, collaborative personality — a true team player
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment
- Experience with tools such as Slack, Notion, or similar platforms is a plus
