Under general supervision, this position performs at full-performance level using multiple-step clerical tasks, such as Receptionist, Mail Clerk, and Switchboard Operator--maintaining, processing, and sorting/scanning file documents, answers phones, screens calls, takes messages and complaints; gives general or specific information whenever possible; processing incoming and outgoing mail; tracking postage on the postage meter; accept documents and negotiables from clients, and make bank deposits. Must be able to operate general office equipment and type various documents. This person is part of the team that serves the Operations unit, which supports Family Assistance staff housed in Boone County. Completes related work as required.

Training: Graduation from a standard high school or the equivalent.
Experience: Two years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in routine office work.
Substitution: College hours, related business school, or vocational training may be substituted through an established formula for the required experience.
