Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT with Jackson Therapy Partners. We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily skills while exploring a new location.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active California Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in acute care hospital settings preferred, including med-surg, telemetry, neuro, ortho, spine, ICU, and pediatrics.
• Experience managing acute care caseloads of approximately 9–10 patients is preferred.
• Ability to provide care across units such as ICU, Neuro ICU, Burn ICU, Pediatric ICU, neuro unit, ortho/spine, med-surg, and telemetry is preferred.
• Willingness to work one weekend per month with corresponding weekdays off, and to accept one guaranteed 3-day weekend off per month.

Assignment Details

• Primary Specialty: Occupational Therapist.
• Facility Type: Hospital.
• Setting: Acute care inpatient hospital with 412 beds and certifications including stroke, elective THA/TKA, and STEMI receiving center.
• Units include ICU, Neuro ICU, Burn ICU, Pediatric ICU, neuro unit, ortho/spine unit, med-surg, and telemetry.
• Caseload expectation: approximately 9–10 patients in acute care with no minimum treatment minute requirements.
• Weekend requirement: one weekend per month with corresponding weekdays off; one guaranteed 3-day weekend off per month.
• Start date: immediate need; start date flexible.
