ResponsibilitiesOccupational Therapists use of everyday life activities (occupations) with individuals or groups for the purpose of participation in roles and situations in home, school, workplace, community, and other settings. Occupational therapy services are provided for the purpose of promoting health and wellness and to those who have or are at risk for developing an illness, injury, disease, disorder, condition, impairment, disability, activity limitation, or participation restriction. Occupational therapy addresses the physical, cognitive, psychosocial, sensory, and other aspects of performance in a variety of contexts to support engagement in everyday life activities that affect health, well-being, and quality of life.
QualificationsSuccessful completion of an accredited occupational therapy educational program and passed approved certification exam.
Doctor of Occupational Therapy preferred.
Current Minnesota License to practice Occupational Therapy or eligible for a Minnesota License. Current BLS certification or completion within 60 days of hire.
Must be able to travel between sites as needed. If required to provide therapy services in another state, will be required to have a current license to practice Occupational Therapy in that state.

Schedule DetailsMonday - Friday. Inpatient and outpatient. Rural Health system facility with a small but experienced team of occupational therapists that treat a variety of conditions including orthopedic (including hand therapy and upper extremity splinting), neurological, lymphedema, and cognition.
