Occupational Therapist (OT) – School-Based (Contract)

We are seeking a dedicated and student-focused Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time, school-based opportunity in North Carolina for the 2026–2027 school year. This position offers a supportive environment with a structured workload model and time built in for evaluations and documentation.

Position Overview:

• Full-time contract position for the 2026–2027 school year
• 37.5 hours per week (excluding lunch)
• All OTs are based out of a central office location
• Caseload determined using a workload model
• Approximately 15–20 hours per week of direct student services
• Remaining time reserved for evaluations, data collection, report writing, IEP meetings, and collaboration

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs
• Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and district guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions

Requirements:

• Active North Carolina Occupational Therapy License REQUIRED
• Must hold licensure by end of July 2026 to be considered
• Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
