Senior Occupational Health Nurse Lead

We are seeking a Senior Occupational Health Nurse Lead to join our Americas Health team. In this role, you will lead occupational health delivery and Chemicals Park Norco and US East Lubricants/Grease plants (Brockville, Fowlerville, and River Rouge), ensuring high-quality care, regulatory compliance, and strong business partnership.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage occupational health services for assigned sites, ensuring delivery with care, compassion, and adherence to protocols
  • Plan, develop, and support execution of health promotion and performance programs across US East operations
  • Deliver occupational health services, including disability management, independently and in alignment with KPIs
  • Act as a trusted advisor to employees, HR, and business leaders on occupational health topics (e.g., ergonomics, fitness for work, disability)
  • Provide clinical care and treatment to employees with work-related injuries or illnesses
  • Maintain accurate and confidential occupational health records and documentation
  • Identify, escalate, and collaborate on frontline health issues with specialists and central teams
  • Coach, mentor, and support less experienced health colleagues
  • Promote initiatives that enhance physical, mental, and social wellbeing across the workforce
  • Leverage internal expertise and best practices to continuously improve service delivery


Required Qualifications & Experience

Professional Skills:

  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (active U.S. license required)
  • Proven experience in occupational health settings with a strong track record of delivering health outcomes
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and health IT systems
  • Ability to perform DOT exams and Fitness-for-Work assessments (including Emergency Response Team evaluations)
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
