Pediatrix® & Obstetrix Medical Group is seeking a dedicated OB Hospitalist to join our well-established community-based obstetric program at HonorHealth Scottsdale Shea Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona. This is an excellent opportunity for OB physicians seeking focused obstetric care, predictable scheduling, and a strong balance between professional fulfillment and quality of life.

OB Hospitalist Position Overview

This role is 100% obstetrics-focused, allowing providers to concentrate exclusively on high-quality maternal care in a busy, well-supported hospital environment.

OB Hospitalist Key Responsibilities & Program Highlights
  • OB Hospitalist-only coverage — no gynecologic duties
  • Seven 24-hour in-house shifts per month, offering predictable scheduling and extended time off
  • Level III hospital with comprehensive obstetric services
  • Approximately 6,000 deliveries annually
  • Provide evaluation and management of obstetric patients in a robust OB Emergency Department
  • Care for unassigned obstetric patients and support community OB physicians
  • Assist with cesarean deliveries as needed
  • Collaborate closely with nursing staff, anesthesia, neonatology, and multidisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, timely, high-quality care

Qualifications

  • Board Certified OB/GYN
  • Previous OB Hospitalist Experience Preferred
  • Ability to obtain AZ medical licensure
