Education
Applicants must provide official transcripts from accredited universities or colleges. To qualify for these positions, applicants must have passed the National Council Licensure Examination. In addition, they must possess a current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a professional nurse from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States. Must have an Undergraduate Degree in Health Administration, Health Care Administration (or equivalent), Health Care Management, Health Management and Policy, Health Services Administration (or equivalent), Hospital Administration (or equivalent), or related fields such as, Primary Care Management, and Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN/RN), Biology, or microbiology. Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN/RN) or Biology. Other completed degrees are acceptable in Public Health, Entomology, Microbiology, Zoology, Biomedical Engineering, Clinical Engineering and Health Management/Health Systems Engineering, Operations Research, or other closely-related degree fields. OR To qualify, applicants must have passed the National Council Licensure Examination. In addition, they must possess a current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a professional nurse from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States. Certification as an Occupational Health Nurse or a Graduate Degree in Public Health (MPH/MSPH) with a bachelor's degree in a biological science. Other educational options are a Master's in Health Administration, Health Care Administration, Health Care Management, Health Management and Policy, Health Services Administration (or equivalent), or Hospital Administration. A Master's degree or equivalent in public health, and one year of graduate medical education completed in a clinical specialty at a hospital is strongly recommended. No substitution of education for specialized experience.Requirements
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT & NOTES: 1. Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance of the position. 2. This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position. 3. Ability to establish effective professional working relationships with coworkers and customers, contributing to a cooperative working environment and successful accomplishment of the mission. 4. May occasionally be required to work other than normal duty hours; overtime (COMPENSATORY) may be required. 5. The duties and responsibilities of your job may significantly impact the environment. You are responsible to maintain awareness of your environmental responsibilities as dictated by legal and regulatory requirements, your organization, and its changing mission. 6. Wear of the military uniform is MANDATORY. 7. Participation in direct deposit is mandatory. 8. For positions requiring the operation of motor vehicles, candidates must have a valid state driver's license. 9. Must be able to maintain credentialing, privileging through the National Guard's Centralized Credentialing and Privileging Preparation Board. Possess a valid, unrestricted license in the US State, territory, or the District of Columbia to practice medicine, board eligible or board certified to include maintaining continuing medical education(CME) hours. 10. This position is designated as Essential Personnel and may be subject to duty in preparation for, or in response to, a state emergency or disaster declaration.
