The HOPE Center is a community health clinic dedicated to providing comprehensive care and support for people living with HIV/AIDS. As part of the federally funded Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program, the center offers medical services, case management, and essential support regardless of a client’s ability to pay. Services focus on helping clients get into and stay in care, access necessary treatment and medications, and improve overall health and quality of life. The HOPE Center also provides education, referrals, and supportive resources to promote wellness and reduce barriers to care, serving a diverse clientele.
Under general supervision, the Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive, patient-centered care for individuals living with HIV. Responsibilities include managing primary care, chronic conditions, and specialized HIV treatment; diagnosing and treating medical conditions; prescribing and optimizing antiretroviral therapy (ART); coordinating care with interdisciplinary teams; providing patient education on adherence, risk reduction, and healthy lifestyle choices; and maintaining accurate electronic health records (EHR). Care is delivered in a compassionate, stigma-free manner under a written protocol agreement with the delegating physician.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Master's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university and/or other education requirements approved by the Georgia Board of Nursing and certification in the specialty area(s) approved by Georgia Board of Nursing and two (2) years of nursing experience and Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse and Georgia license as a APRN and current certification in specialty area and CPR certification; or two (2) years of experience at the lower level PH Advanced Practice RN 1 (HCP200) or position equivalent.

The use of physical activity breaks during the workday is authorized to support this philosophy and help employees meet their wellness goals.A maximum of 30 minutes of physical activity may be allocated per workday, typically in the form of two 15-minute breaks or one 30-minute break.
