How you’ll make an impact in this role
  • Lead Mission-Critical Operations: Oversee the Hospital Float Pool, Staffing Office, and House Supervisors, serving as the primary architect for resource allocation to ensure the right care reaches the right patient at the right time.
  • Cultivate High-Performing Teams: Direct all aspects of recruitment, professional development, and performance evaluation, building a resilient team culture rooted in mentorship and clinical growth.
  • Optimize Throughput & Care Delivery: Identify and resolve systemic barriers to patient care, streamlining workflows to ensure efficient health service delivery across your assigned units.
  • Drive Operational & Fiscal Integrity: Manage the departmental budget and policy implementation with precision, ensuring all expenditures and procedures align with both financial goals and gold-standard accreditation requirements.
What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.

Education:

  • Required professional licensure/certification AND 3 years of experience and 1 year of cumulative
    leadership experience required.

  • Clinical Foundation: A strong background in Inpatient RN experience that informs your leadership style and decision-making.
  • Leadership Tenacity: Proven success in Hospital Leadership roles, with the ability to manage complex, multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Operational Expertise: A deep understanding of hospital throughput and staffing strategy, with a knack for balancing daily operational demands with long-term efficiency.
