• Lead a high-performing clinical team dedicated to the highest standards of infant care by mentoring staff and hiring top talent to foster a culture of professional growth and excellence.

• Optimize unit workflows and clinical policies to ensure the seamless, efficient delivery of world-class patient care.

• Resolve complex care delivery challenges by collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to improve outcomes for newborns and their families.

• Manage unit resources and operational budgets to ensure the team has the necessary tools and staffing to provide uninterrupted, high-quality service.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.

Education:

• Required professional licensure/certification AND 3 years of experience and 1 year of cumulative
  leadership experience required.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
• Minimum 1 year of formal experience in an RN leadership role (e.g., Charge Nurse, Supervisor, or Manager).
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is required.
