Position Purpose Supervise and coordinate night‑crew operations to ensure timely and accurate stocking, merchandising, and presentation of merchandise while supporting sales, inventory accuracy, safety, and customer service standards.
Key Accountabilities - Supervise nightly stocking and merchandising operations to ensure store readiness for the business day.
- Support total store customer service by ensuring aisles, displays, and shelves are clean, stocked, and organized.
- Assign work, set priorities, and adjust workload to meet nightly production and completion goals.
- Ensure accurate stocking, rotation, facing, and replenishment of merchandise.
- Monitor inventory handling to minimize damage, shrink, and out‑of‑stocks.
- Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and company operating procedures.
- Train, coach, and direct night‑crew associates; provide ongoing feedback and support.
- Monitor productivity and labor usage to meet budgeted goals.
- Verify load breakdown, receiving accuracy, and proper backroom organization.
- Review work for accuracy and completeness; address issues within established guidelines.
- Communicate operational issues, priorities, and completion status to store and department management.
- Provide input on associate performance evaluations and disciplinary actions as appropriate.
- May participate in hiring and onboarding processes.
- Act as Manager‑on‑Duty or leadership support as assigned.

Knowledge and Experience Education Level:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Experience Level:
- Prior grocery retail experience required
- Supervisory or lead experience preferred

- Knowledge of stocking, merchandising, and inventory practices
- Basic retail math and report interpretation skills
- Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities
- Ability to work overnight hours as scheduled
Physical Environment - Work is performed primarily in a retail store setting during overnight hours.
- Requires extended periods of standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting.
- Frequent use of pallet jacks, stocking tools, and other store equipment.
