Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Network Operations Manager/Lead to oversee end-to-end network infrastructure operations with a strong focus on F5 technologies. This role requires a hands-on leader who can ensure high availability, lead incident management, govern change processes, and act as a key interface between technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise along with strong operational and leadership capabilities in enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operational Ownership (BAU)

  • Own and manage end-to-end network and infrastructure operations across assigned environments.
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and stability of network services.
  • Enforce operational processes including runbooks, SOPs, SLAs, and OLAs across L1/L2/L3 teams.
  • Monitor service health and proactively identify and mitigate risks.

2. Incident & Problem Management

  • Act as the primary escalation point for critical incidents (P1/P2).
  • Lead Major Incident Management (MIM) calls and drive cross-functional coordination.
  • Ensure timely Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implementation of preventive measures.
  • Drive continuous improvement by reducing repeat incidents through effective problem management.

3. Change & Release Management

  • Review and approve infrastructure changes, patches, and upgrades.
  • Ensure proper risk assessment, rollback planning, and adherence to change policies.
  • Coordinate with application teams and business stakeholders for seamless releases.
  • Validate post-change stability and provide formal sign-off.

4. Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage relationships with OEMs, cloud providers, and third-party vendors.
  • Track vendor performance, handle escalations, and conduct service reviews.
  • Act as the primary operational point of contact for customer stakeholders.
  • Present service performance, risks, and improvement plans to leadership.

5. Governance, Compliance & Security

  • Ensure compliance with enterprise IT policies, security standards, and audit requirements.
  • Support regulatory and compliance frameworks such as DR, BCP, and access control policies.
  • Lead disaster recovery drills, backup validation, and resiliency initiatives.
  • Ensure audit readiness and timely closure of audit observations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in Network / Infrastructure Operations with at least 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP (LTM, GTM/DNS, ASM).
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts: Routing & Switching (BGP, OSPF), VLANs, VPNs, DNS, DHCP.
  • Experience with enterprise firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA) is a plus.
  • Proven experience in Incident, Problem, and Change Management (ITIL framework).
  • Strong experience in Major Incident Management (MIM) and escalation handling.
  • Experience working in large-scale enterprise or managed services environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and vendor management skills.
  • Exposure to compliance, audit, DR/BCP planning, and governance processes.
