Are you a talented multimedia professional with a passion for storytelling and making a difference? We’re seeking a dynamic Multimedia Specialist to join a healthcare organization’s team on a flexible, project-based basis. This role offers the opportunity to create impactful content—from videos to visuals—that educates, inspires, and humanizes a vital community service.
This position is primarily remote, with the flexibility to work onsite in San Diego for filming and photography as needed. The ideal candidate is self-sufficient, experienced in handling multiple projects, and ready to bring their creativity into a fast-paced healthcare environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead full-cycle video production—including filming interviews, “day in the life” features, and educational content
- Edit raw footage into engaging stories with polished color grading, sound design, and motion graphics
- Design digital assets like social media graphics, email headers, and simple animations to support campaigns
- Work with healthcare staff to develop scripts that translate complex concepts into accessible content
- Maintain organized media libraries for seamless project workflows
Requirements:
- 2–4 years of experience in video production or multimedia design
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop)
- Experience operating DSLR/mirrorless cameras and professional audio equipment
- Strong eye for detail, pacing, typography, and visual consistency
- Ability to work respectfully within healthcare environments, adhering to privacy and HIPAA standards
- Adaptability to manage both field shoots and post-production projects
