Job DetailsJob Details:
We are on the hunt for a dynamic and experienced Permanent Multi-Family Project Manager to join our team in the Construction industry. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional to work on a variety of multi-family, affordable housing, and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex construction projects and a deep understanding of the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning and execution of multi-family, affordable housing, and commercial construction projects from start to finish.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other construction specialists to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Utilize Sage 300 for project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and procurement.
- Use Bluebeam for markup and collaboration on project plans and drawings.
- Maintain and update the project's drawing set, both electronically and in hard copy, to reflect any modifications or updates.
- Procure all necessary materials and equipment, coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors as needed.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and specifications.
- Regularly report project status to stakeholders, including progress, risks, and potential solutions.
- Manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
- Evaluate project outcomes based on established objectives and success criteria.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management or equivalent.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in multi-family, affordable housing, or commercial construction projects.
- Proficient in Sage 300 and Bluebeam.
- Proven experience in project management and team coordination.
- Knowledge of building codes, safety laws, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
- A valid driver's license may be required.
