- Tuesday – Friday: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Saturday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Hours: 37.5 per week
- Pay range: $70 to $75/hr on W2
Pride Health is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a contract opportunity in New York, NY (10029). This is a high-impact role within a busy radiology department requiring strong technical expertise and patient-focused care.
🩻 Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI imaging procedures following department protocols
- Position patients and coils to ensure optimal image quality
- Review MRI safety questionnaires prior to scanning
- Evaluate images for diagnostic acceptability and transmit to PACS
- Maintain accurate documentation in Radiology Information Systems
- Ensure MRI room safety and strict adherence to ferromagnetic safety guidelines
- Educate patients on procedures and provide compassionate care
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and infection control standards
✅ Requirements
- NY State License in Diagnostic Radiology
- ARRT (MRI) Certification
- BCLS Certification
- Graduate of an AMA/J.C.E.R.T. approved Radiologic Technology program
- Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, MRI physics & imaging principles
- 2+ years of MRI experience preferred
