Responsibilities:
Greets and assists patients upon arrival; prepares paperwork and verifies documentation.
Answers phone calls related to scheduling, patient questions, and history collection.
Performs MRI safety screening per established protocols and reviews documentation with the technologist.
Escorts, positions, lifts, and transfers patients as needed to ensure safety and comfort.
Establishes IV access and assists with oral contrast preparation and patient instructions under the technologist direction.
Positions patients and imaging equipment according to protocol to ensure accurate imaging.
Provides patient monitoring, support during exams, and discharge instructions as directed.
Assists with quality control testing and reports equipment issues promptly.
Transports patients, cleans, and prepares exam rooms per departmental guidelines.
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least one-year of previous healthcare experience.
Medical terminology and recent medical/imaging office experience preferred.
IV insertion experience preferred.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire
Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
