Mobility Specialist

Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist (COMS) job for a part time position providing services to qualifying students with visual impairments, attending IEP meetings, and consulting with school staff.

This job is in person on multiple campuses in Crosby, TX for the 2026-27 school year to serve a caseload of 6 students for at least 10 hours per month.

O&M Specialist rates start at $45/hr

Qualifications for O&M Specialist positions

• Certification from the Academy for Certification of Vision Rehabilitation and Education Professionals (ACVREP)
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• A minimum of 2 years experience as a Certified O&M Specialist / COMS in a school setting
