Aerotek is actively hiring Entry‑Level MIG Welders to join a growing manufacturing team in Altamont, IL. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to start or build a long‑term career in welding with hands‑on training, steady hours, and weekly pay.

• Perform production MIG welding on various steel components
• Weld in multiple positions including overhead, flat, and vertical
• Set up welding jobs using fixtures and follow blueprints/specifications
• Utilize hand tools and grinding equipment to finish welds
• Visually inspect welds to ensure quality and consistency
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Previous experience using a MIG welder (school or hands‑on experience welcome)
• Ability to read and follow basic blueprints or work instructions
• Willingness to learn, take feedback, and grow within a manufacturing environment

• Weekly pay

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Effingham, IL.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
