Employment Type: Contract/Hybrid


Location: Lehi, UT (Hybrid) (Mon and Tue in office, Wed – Fri remote)


Duration: 6+ months with possible extension


Pay range: $19/hr - $19.35/hr W2


Schedule: Mon – Fri

Training shift: 8 am-5 pm MT (for first 4 weeks)

Post-training shift: 9 am- 6 pm MT

We are seeking passionate, temporary Member Advocate Contractors to join a Customer Experience team in Lehi, UT. Healthcare should be simple, accessible, and technology-driven—but most importantly, centered around the people it serves. This role is ideal for motivated individuals who are eager to elevate the member experience.

As a Member Advocate Contractor, you will serve as the first point of contact for members. You will handle high-volume, Tier 1 inquiries, guide individuals through their health benefits, answer account-related questions, and help them navigate their coverage with ease.


What you’ll do:

  • Gain foundational knowledge of health insurance, benefits, and network plans to support Tier 1 member inquiries
  • Connect with members via phone and email to resolve a variety of questions related to understanding, navigating, and paying for healthcare
  • Contribute to a positive team culture aligned with company values
  • Work closely with a Team Lead in a critical, customer-facing role


Your skills include:

  • Strong desire to help others with healthcare-related situations and demonstrate empathy in every interaction
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to manage complex member inquiries
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while delivering personalized service
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new systems and processes
  • Strong technical aptitude
  • Ability to remain composed and compassionate while multitasking


Nice to have:

  • 1+ years of experience in a fast-paced work environment
  • 1+ years of experience in a customer-facing role
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
  • Prior healthcare experience
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree
