Experience:

• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• 12 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

• 3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Massachusetts license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Mass General Brigham Incorporated (Direct) - Main Program and no current placement allowed at Program: Mass General Brigham Incorporated (Direct) - Main Program.

Additional Details:

Contingent/temp licensure is not accepted.

Seasonal Flu Vaccine is required if working during flu season (September 15-April 30th).

Must be fully vaccinated (exemptions are reviewed on a very limited basis).

No Block Scheduling for any Travelers at Salem.

Required Skills/Experience: Should have knowledge on cardiac drips and be able to interpret Tele Strips. Nursing care for patients post cardiac catheterization and pacemaker is needed but not required.

Required Credentials: Telemetry Certification.

Unit/Facility Details: Patient Ratio: The RN to patient ratio on Day and Evening shifts is 1:4 with max of 5. The Night shift is 1:5-6. Day shift on weekdays includes a Charge RN without a patient assignment.

Special Requests:

Shift & Scheduling: Days/Eves/Nights Rotate & EOW. Day Rotators may be rotated between (7a-7p, 11a-11p or 7p-7a) when needed. Rotation frequency is usually low. Night positions do not rotate.

Floating Requirements: Required to float to applicable units when needed.

7 days maximum time off

1 reference from last 2 years (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission

1 reference from last 2 years (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission

Proof of identification required
