Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Nebraska license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Required Credentials: Pass/fail open-book exam on Friday during orientation on skills learned; must receive a 90% to pass. RN jobs in the following units: Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology, ED/ER, Endoscopy, any ICU/critical care, IR, LTAC ICU, Med-Surg/Tele, Tele, PACU, Stepdown/PCU are required to pass a Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam during onboarding. Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
Special Requests: An interview may not be available prior to offer.
Unit Details: Adults with a small amount of pediatrics (1-5 peds a year); pediatrics experience not required. Common patient diagnoses: post-surgical, diabetes, heart failure, hypertension, weakness, cancer. Serves a diverse population, including African American and Korean-speaking patients.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend.
Floating Requirements: Float to 6E, acute rehab unit, and geriatric psych unit.
Previous Employment Requirements: Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.
Details:
• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
