Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 18 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 1 months within the past 12 months.
• Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
• Trauma Level 1 experience is required from any number of months
• ASN completion required

• Candidates must have a Georgia license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed.

Required Skills/Experience: - Trach chare, chest tube management, PIV starts and IV maintenance, glucommander, strong assessment and time management skills, care coordination with interdisciplinary team, discharge planning knowledge, patient education - Tele skills (required): monitoring and interpreting cardiac rhythms, post-cath, TR bands, post-cath groin site management (no sheath pulls) - Drips (required): insulin, heparin, Cardizem, amiodarone, milrinone, Digoxin, nicardipine. Could titrate drips for HR but not for BP Tele skills (required): monitoring and interpreting cardiac rhythms, post-cath, TR bands, post-cath groin site management (no sheath pulls)
Required Credentials: Traveler will be required to pass and EKG competency exam during onboarding. ASN/BSN. BCR (Basic Cardiac Rythm) are required
Preferred Credentials: Certification in med surg is a plus
Unit/Facility Details: Parking: Free? Have free parking around campus or can pay to park in parking decks
Special Requests: RTO Requests: MUST go through Manager for approval
Shift & Scheduling: - Weekend Rotation: 6 shifts on a 6 week schedule (6 out of 12 shifts) - Holiday Requirements: Travelers will work 75% of holidays - Holiday Expectations: work one shift of each major holiday (Thanksgiving Day or day after + 12/24 or 12/25 + 12/31 or 1/1)
Floating Requirements: Travelers are utilized in a float pool capacity – will be required to float to all Med/Tele units in house, as needed.
7 days maximum time off
2 references from last 12 months (Charge/Lead reference type) - 1 required for submission
