Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 22 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience.
• Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.
• Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• 6 months gap required between for Any Contract Type at Program: Aya Program - James Cancer Hospital and Research and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - James Cancer Hospital and Research.

Required Skills/Experience: - Must meet experience requirements within the 3 most recent years. However, must have at least 1 year of current specialty experience for a clinical pass. - Interpretation of dysrhythmias - Accessing ports - Arterial line management - Blood product administration - Central line care/management - PICC line management - Assist with chest tube insertion/removal - High-flow nasal cannula (HFNC) - Interpretation of ABGs - IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Starting and maintaining IVs, Oncology, Respiratory, Tracheostomy care/management, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Work Settings, MS/Tele, Medications, Endocrine/Metabolic
Preferred Skills/Experience: - Oncology experience preferred but not required. - Accessing/Managing Ports, Administration of chemotherapy, BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance, Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Telemetry Oncology, PCA, Titration of Insulin drips - Teaching Hospital Experience

Shift & Scheduling: - D/N or N - If you accept a 12D/N rotating contract, you may be scheduled for days, nights, or a combination of both, depending on the department’s needs. Shift assignments are reviewed every 4-week scheduling period, but changes are not guaranteed and are based on staffing priorities at that time. - Weekend shifts are variable based on unit needs.
Floating Requirements: - Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity. - Float to other MedSurg Oncology units.
Required Credentials: - Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
Details:
• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
