Addison Group is partnering with a well-established outpatient medical practice to hire a Front Desk Specialist. This clinic provides comprehensive primary care services and is known for delivering patient-focused care in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Job Description:

The Front Desk Specialist will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient check-in/check-out experience. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage a high-volume patient flow, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications:

  • At least 8 months to 1 year of experience in a medical front office or clinic setting
  • Ability to handle a high patient volume with efficiency and accuracy
  • Strong multitasking and communication skills
  • Experience working in a team-driven environment
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records systems (e.g., eClinicalWorks) is a plus
  • Stable work history preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome patients and manage check-in/check-out processes
  • Schedule appointments and handle incoming phone calls
  • Collect payments, including copays, and maintain accurate records
  • Update and verify patient demographics and insurance information
  • Scan and organize patient documentation within the system
  • Support clinic operations by assisting team members as needed
