Key Responsibilities
• Manage litigation files from inception through trial, both independently and as part of a team.
• Conduct detailed fact investigations and case evaluations.
• Handle document production, discovery processes, and case strategy development.
• Prepare witnesses for depositions and trial testimony.
• Take and defend depositions in complex medical malpractice cases.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents.
• Review and analyze insurance policies, contracts, and medical records.
• Prepare for and attend court hearings, including oral argument of motions.
• Participate in trial preparation, including direct and cross-examination of witnesses.

Qualifications
• 2–5 years of experience as a Medical Malpractice Defense Attorney or litigation attorney.
• Licensed to practice law in Missouri and Illinois (MO and IL Bar required).
• Strong experience in civil litigation, preferably in medical malpractice defense.
• Ability to independently manage complex litigation matters.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
