Instrumentation & Quality Control
- Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot automated laboratory instrumentation, including chemistry, hematology, coagulation, and urine analyzers.
- Perform preventative maintenance, quality control (QC) submissions, and equipment mapping qualifications (refrigerators/freezers).
Data Integrity & Compliance
- Collect, record, and review data electronically and on paper in strict compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
- Act as a "Point Technician" by assisting with study book preparation, data form creation, data form review, and study protocol reviews.
- Generate and verify sample accountabilities, manifests, and pack samples for secure shipment.
- Promptly notify veterinary staff of any clinically significant or critical results.
