Medical Billing Specialist

Now Hiring for a Medical Billing Specialist for a healthcare organization in Oakdale, MN!!! This position is 100% onsite!!

Description

Manage and follow up on outstanding insurance balances and collections

Contact insurance companies regarding claim status, payment delays, denials, and discrepancies

Research, correct, and resubmit claims as needed to ensure accurate reimbursement

Work with various insurance payers to resolve billing and payment issues

Once accounts are established, respond to client questions related to balances and billing inquiries

Maintain accurate documentation of all payer and client communications

Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex billing or claims issues

Qualifications

Healthcare insurance experience

Billing, collections, Prior Auth experience

Needs to be able to work basics of excel

Schedule

Monday-Friday, 8am-430pm or 830am-5pm

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oakdale, MN.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
