Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Private Pay Biller to support their business office team by managing resident billing, maintaining accurate account balances, and ensuring timely payment collection. This role plays a key part in maintaining financial accuracy and delivering clear communication to patients and families regarding their financial responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in private pay or self-pay collections within healthcare
• Familiarity with Medicaid billing processes
• Strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycle operations
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly and professionally
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate and review monthly billing statements to identify outstanding balances
• Follow up on overdue accounts and coordinate payment arrangements with patients or responsible parties
• Communicate clearly with residents and families regarding billing questions and out-of-pocket costs
• Submit Medicaid claims accurately and in a timely manner
• Monitor account balances and work to reduce aged receivables
