This is a full-time, on-site role for a Medical Assistant located in Norfolk, VA. The Medical Assistant will provide patient care support by performing clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, assisting physicians during examinations, preparing medical records, and managing patient information. The role also includes administrative responsibilities like maintaining medical office operations and ensuring a seamless patient experience.

• Strong skills in Medical Assisting, including assisting during patient examinations and medical procedures
• Familiarity with Medical Terminology to effectively communicate and document patient care
• Experience working in a Medical Office setting, with the ability to manage schedules and workflow
• Proficiency in Patient Care, ensuring compassionate and professional interactions
• Knowledge of Medical Records management, including the use of electronic health record systems
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a clinical environment
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
