Pay Range: $40–$43/hour (W2)
Location: Seattle, WA 98122
Shift: Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (5x8)
Work Setting: Cardiology Clinic (Onsite)
Duration: 13 Weeks (High chance of extension/perm conversion)
Education
• High School Diploma or GED (Required)
• Medical Assistant Program (Preferred)
Certifications
• BLS (Required)
• MA-C (Preferred) / MA-R (Acceptable)
Project Description
Seeking a Medical Assistant to support a busy cardiology clinic. This role combines clinical and administrative responsibilities, including patient care, chart preparation, and coordination with providers. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and supporting multiple clinic locations if needed.
Key Responsibilities
• Room patients, take vitals, and assist providers during examinations
• Perform chart preparation, in-basket management, and medication refills
• Handle telephone triage and authorization forms
• Assist with patient scheduling and coordination of care
• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC EMR (REQUIRED)
• Support clinic workflow and assist across multiple locations if needed
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and patient safety standards
Required Skills & Experience
• Minimum 6 months of Medical Assistant experience
• Experience in cardiology or primary care setting
• EPIC EMR experience (MANDATORY)
• Strong clinical and administrative skillset
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinic environment
• Reliable transportation (required – no public transport)
• Willingness to float/travel to nearby clinics as needed
Preferred Skills
• Cardiology clinic experience
• Experience with prior authorizations and telephone triage
• Strong patient communication and coordination skills
Additional Requirements
• Must be open to temp-to-perm conversion
• Candidates outside local area must confirm willingness to relocate permanently
• No weekend requirement
• Facility may call off 1 shift per pay period
