As part of the Medical Vendor Administration Eligibility Field Operations team, you will make timely and accurate eligibility determinations across a wide range of Medicaid programs, helping families, children, seniors, and individuals with disabilities access the care they need. Communicating Effectively:The ability to convey information, ideas, and emotions using structured communication methods that promote understanding and engagement.· Acquire and maintain in-depth knowledge of Medicaid policies, procedures, and eligibility requirements
· Review and analyze applications to make accurate and timely Medicaid eligibility determinations
· Provide eligibility assistance to members and applicants through multiple channels, including phone, email, mail, in-person, and electronic systems
· Utilize web-based programs and tools to process applications, verify information, and update records
· Respond to inquiries from members and applicants, providing clear guidance on eligibility, benefits, and program requirements
· Document and maintain accurate records of all member interactions, eligibility decisions, and communications
· Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve complex eligibility issues and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
· Monitor and track application progress to ensure timely processing and follow-up with applicants as needed
· Maintain confidentiality and security of member information in accordance with privacy laws and agency policies
· Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current on policy changes, system updates, and procedural enhancements
