This is an entry level position for an individual with a bachelors degree in a human services related field and one experience working with adults with mental illness.
This position is responsible for the day to day activities of the Med Drop Program located in Detroit, MI. This is a Full Time Hourly Position with benefits. Hours are Monday 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Tuesday through Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The salary range is $17.50 per hour to $18.50 per hour.
The Med Drop Services (MDS) Coordinator position is responsible for the day to day activities of the Med Drop Program. This position will report to the MDS Program Manager and Pharmacy Site Manager. This position is responsible for maintaining positive relationships with the Funding Source, Referral Source, Community Mental Health Staff, Community Partners and Pharmacy Staff. The MDS Coordinator is responsible for entering service authorizations, completing client assessments, conducting Program Orientation Sessions- typically in the client’s home, completing treatment plans, completing progress reports, progress notes, and chart notes in the electronic health record, data entry, and care coordination between the Med Drop Staff and the client’s treating prescriber. At times, this position will make medication drops.
