Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and fix hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic malfunctions on equipment.
- Schematic Interpretation: Read and interpret electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, and blueprints.
- System Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal functioning of pumps, valves, cylinders, and hoses.
- Component Replacement: Replace malfunctioning electrical components, such as circuit boards, sensors, and motor starters.
- Diagnostic Testing: Use diagnostic tools like pressure gauges, flow meters, and multimeters to identify system issues.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate service records and logs of maintenance activities.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a maintenance technician, hydraulic technician, or industrial electrician.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of hydraulics, fluid power, and industrial electrical systems.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with diagnostic tools, test equipment, and often computer-based repair systems.
- Education: Vocational training, apprenticeship, or degree in Electromechanical Technology or related field.
- Physical Ability: Ability to work in challenging environments, lift heavy equipment, and perform physically demanding tasks.
