Our work includes HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems on projects ranging from $50K to $10M, across both ground-up construction and renovations.
About the Role
We are seeking a Mechanical Project Manager with 5 to 7+ years project management experience to lead commercial HVAC, piping, and plumbing projects from preconstruction through closeout.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and manage mechanical project activities from inception through completion
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Develop and maintain manpower loaded project schedules
- Estimate change proposals as deviations in scope of work arise or are distributed
- Procure equipment and subcontractors; monitor and forecast job costs
- Review and approve submittals, drawings, and project deliverables
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks
- Collaborate with field teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to define project objectives
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to support repeat business
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical construction (HVAC, piping, plumbing)
- 5+ years of experience in a Project Manager role
- Proven ability to manage multiple and complex commercial projects simultaneously
- Strong understanding of project financials, including job cost tracking, forecasting, and contract types (fixed-price, cost-plus, unit pricing)
- Ability to interpret contracts, plans, specifications, schematic diagrams, and isometric drawings
- Experience with project management software and computerized job cost systems
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities across projects
- In-depth understanding of mechanical systems and materials
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
Preferred:
- Familiar with commissioning requirements and associated cloud-based platforms
- Capable of using 3D modeling software and viewers for project BIM navigation
- Experience with Sage 300 CRE and Sage Paperless

- Availability to support project needs as required, including occasional evenings or weekends
Pay: $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
