Position Summary

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the design, development, and manufacturing of water treatment and fluid-handling products. This role partners closely with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to improve product performance, reliability, and manufacturability while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and improve mechanical components and assemblies for water treatment systems, including tanks, pressure vessels, and related products
  • Create and maintain engineering drawings, specifications, and BOMs using CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks)
  • Support manufacturing operations through process improvements, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations
  • Lead or support product changes, cost reduction initiatives, and continuous improvement projects
  • Perform engineering analysis, testing, and validation to ensure products meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements
  • Support new product introductions (NPI) from concept through production launch
  • Ensure compliance with internal standards, industry codes, and applicable regulatory requirements
  • Participate in supplier collaboration and technical reviews as needed
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline
  • 2–5+ years of mechanical engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)
  • Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
  • Experience supporting production environments and resolving technical issues
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis and corrective action
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional team

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NEW BERLIN, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
