Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electro Mechanical Assembler with 1-3 years of experience to join our team. You will work with a variety of industries including medical, automotive, and aerospace, primarily focusing on products for our largest customer. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and as part of a team during the day shift.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble parts from various industries such as medical, automotive, and aerospace.
  • Read and understand schematics and drawings to execute tasks accurately.
  • Conduct cable harnessing, box builds, and electrical assembly.
  • Perform soldering, valve assembly, and point-to-point wiring.
  • Utilize tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, calipers, torque tools, and crimping tools for small pins.
  • Ensure quality by inspecting assembled components for accuracy and functionality.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with reading and understanding schematics and drawings.
  • Proficiency in cable harnessing and box builds.
  • Detail-oriented with experience in soldering and electrical assembly.
  • Familiarity with using tools like wrenches, screwdrivers, calipers, and torque tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in pneumatic assembly is advantageous.
  • Ability to multitask and manage different assembly projects simultaneously.

Work Environment

The position is based in a clean room environment alongside approximately 15 other assemblers. You'll be working on a swing shift from 2 pm to 10:30 pm, contributing to a collaborative and innovative workspace.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newark, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr.
