The Mechanical Assembler will build custom metal storage systems designed for emergency and service vehicles by assembling components from the welding and fabrication shop into finished products ready for shipment. This role involves hands-on mechanical assembly, light fabrication, and crating, using a wide range of hand and power tools to install decks, drawers, slides, and accessories according to specifications and quality standards.

Work Environment
This role is based in a welding and fabrication shop environment that focuses on building custom metal products for vehicles. The workday typically runs Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with regular opportunities for overtime, resulting in approximately 45–50 hours per week. The position requires standing, moving, and working around fabrication equipment and assembly stations throughout the shift. Safety is a priority, and employees must wear composite-toe shoes and safety glasses at all times on the shop floor. The environment involves working with metal and wood materials, hand tools, and power tools such as panel saws, table saws, staple guns, and drills in a production-oriented setting.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.50 - $20.50/hr.
