Material Handler

Job Title: Material Handler

1st Shift $20-22/hr

Key Responsibilities

• Operate propane and electric forklifts and lift trucks to move materials throughout the facility and yard
• Load and unload trucks, perform dock work, and palletize products for storage or shipment
• Manually handle materials by sorting, counting, staging, and moving inventory
• Use RF scanners to pick orders, track inventory, and maintain accurate stock records
• Support yard operations, including outdoor loading and unloading in varying weather conditions
• Perform general labor tasks such as basic production support, use of hand tools, and assisting with sandblasting as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in a dirty manufacturing environment
• Follow all safety procedures while lifting and carrying materials up to 50 lbs
• Remain on your feet for most of the shift and adapt to changing daily priorities

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of material handling and/or forklift experience
• Experience operating forklifts (propane and/or electric preferred)
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Comfortable working in a non‑temperature‑controlled manufacturing environment
• Able to stand and walk for the majority of the shift
• Experience using RF scanners or willingness to learn
• Flexible and dependable with the ability to switch tasks as needed

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hector, MN.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Hector,MN.
