Job Title: Material Handler

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Material Handler to support manufacturing and warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for individuals who are comfortable performing a variety of warehouse tasks, enjoy hands-on work, and have experience supporting production or manufacturing teams. The position primarily works swing shift (3:30 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.) and offers opportunities to gain experience across multiple areas of warehouse operations.

• Accurately pick materials and components according to daily and weekly production backorder lists.
• Pull, stage, and organize materials needed to support production lines for the full workweek.
• Use RF scanners to access picking lists and scan materials throughout warehouse workflows.
• Utilize an ERP system to locate inventory, verify part data, and assist with resolving inventory discrepancies.
• Perform cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain accurate stock records.
• Support general warehouse operations by rotating between picking, counting, staging, and organizing tasks.
• Assist with shipping and receiving functions as needed, including processing inbound and outbound materials.
• Safely operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks when required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment at all times.

• Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production environment.
• Experience using an ERP system for inventory management or material tracking.
• Familiarity with RF scanners or similar tools for picking and inventory control.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling materials and tracking inventory.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, lifting, and moving materials throughout the shift.
• Comfort working in a small, hands-on, fast-paced warehouse setting.

This position is based in a compact, efficient warehouse supporting manufacturing operations. Daily work includes hands-on material handling, frequent movement throughout the warehouse, and regular use of RF scanners, ERP systems, and material handling equipment. While the primary schedule is swing shift, occasional coordination with day-shift operations may be required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hayward, CA.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Hayward,CA.
