Material Handler/Forklift Operator-1st Shift 6am-2:30pm-Production

Pridestaff is currently seeking aMaterial Handler/Forklift Operatorfor a wood manufacturing company located in Rialto, CA. This is a full-time temporary position with potential for hire. Our client has great benefits and a great work environment. Please see job requirements below to be considered.

• Starting Pay Rate: $23.50
• Shift: Monday – Friday, 6am to 2:30pm (mandatory over time with little to no notice is required, may work 12 hour shifts including Saturdays)

• Depending on assignment, our team members may do any of the following duties:
• Inspect incoming loads
• Check shipping documents for correct customer information
• Operating propane and electric forklift vehicles
• Perform start of shift preventative maintenance inspection
• Load semi-trucks and box trucks with required finished product
• Assist in inventory cycle counts as needed
• Material preparation and material handling
• Staging and packaging finished product for delivery
• Other general warehouse duties as needed

• Qualified applicant will have a minimum of 2 years of warehousing and material handling; door hardware experience highly preferred
• Prior Cherry Picker and Stand-up Reach Forkliftexperience
• Powered lift truck certification highly preferred
• Strong inventory control and cycling counting experience
• Must be have experience with verifying shipping documents, BOL's etc.
• Able to lift up to 50lbs on a dailybasis
• Must be highly motivated and a self-starter; Positive outgoing attitude
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; Bilingual a plus
• Must be willing to submit to a drug test and criminal background check prior to start

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $22.50 - $23.50 Per Hour
