Job Title: Forklift Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Material Handler Forklift Operator to join our team. The role involves operating a sit-down forklift and utilizing an RF scan gun to efficiently load and unload products from trailers within the warehouse. The successful candidate will assist operators with materials when needed, inspect inbound and outbound products, and utilize the internal shipping system as required. You will act as a team lead within the warehouse, overseeing a team of employees without direct management responsibilities.

Work Environment
Work in a clean and temperature-controlled environment where bottles and caps for products such as shampoo and mouthwash are manufactured. Follow GMP guidelines and dress code requirements, including steel-toed boots, long pants, and a t-shirt. Ear plugs and hair nets will be provided. Operate in shifts with 1st shift from 6am to 2pm and 2nd shift from 2pm to 10pm. Training will be conducted on the 1st shift for one week.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Iowa City, IA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.50/hr.
